How the day works
You have the truck parked and ready, and we bring the crew, blankets, straps, and dollies. We walk the house with you first to get a sense of what is going and what order it should load in, then start with the heaviest and largest pieces.
Boxes fill in around the furniture as we go, and straps hold everything against the wall of the truck so a hard stop on the freeway does not send anything sliding.
Most jobs run two to three hours depending on the size of the home, and you are free to help point things out or simply stay out of the way while the crew works.
Unloading at the other end
If the new place is also in the valley, we can meet you there and unload the same truck, carrying everything to the rooms you name. Long distance drivers often just want the loading half and handle the unloading themselves once they arrive.
Either way, the same care that goes into wrapping and stacking on the way in applies to carrying it back out.
