Elevators and loading windows
Many of the larger complexes near the resort corridor and along the 215 Beltway require a reserved freight elevator and a set moving window. We ask you to book that slot as soon as your date is set, since they fill quickly at the end of the month.
We stage boxes near the elevator and keep a mover at each end so the cab is never sitting empty, which keeps the whole move inside your booked window.
Stairs without an elevator
Plenty of Las Vegas apartments are walk ups, especially in the older buildings around the valley. Stair carries take longer and use more of the crew, so we ask about the floor number and stair layout when you book so the right size crew shows up.
Long carries from a parking spot to a third floor unit are common enough that we plan for them rather than treat them as a surprise.
What the leasing office usually asks for
A lot of communities want a certificate of insurance, floor protection in common areas, and a moving day scheduled with the office. Send us the requirements as soon as you have them and we will meet them.
Loading zone rules are worth checking too. Some complexes only allow a truck in a specific spot for a limited window, and getting that wrong costs time on the day.
Small apartment jobs
Not every apartment move is a full unit. We also handle single rooms, a couch going into a new place, or boxes going into a storage unit a floor away. Tell us what you have and we send the right number of movers, not a full crew for a small job.
Studio and one bedroom apartments are some of our most common calls, often booked with only a day or two of notice once a lease is signed.
Working around a shared parking lot
Plenty of Las Vegas apartment communities have a single shared lot with no dedicated space for a moving truck, which means the crew is planning around other residents' cars and a loading zone that might already be taken.
We ask about parking layout before the day and, where possible, request the office reserve a spot near the building so the carry from truck to door stays short.
